Introducing Jenny’s Sewing Studio’s embroidery design challenge!

Jenny’s Sewing Studio would like to encourage your designing skills, especially with the auto punch embroidery programs, so we are introducing a monthly design embroidery challenge!   Each month we will have a theme that will inspire your creativity.  Jenny will compile and picture and the design files of all the designs sent between the 1st and 15th of each month on our blog web site.

The posting of all designs will announced for embroidery sewers to view and download in December. If you would like to share your design, you are making it available for free download for one month.

Promote your skills! We will post your design and list your web site (note: you do not need a web site to enter the challenge) so consumers can visit your site during the current challenge.  You can send up to 5 designs per challenge.  Send Jenny an email with the design file and release statement so consumers can use your free design. I hope you enjoy our challenge each month. Another plus, anyone who contributes will be given a 10% discount off any in stock item we sell for the challenge period.  I will add the 10% during the month, it will not show in the order but as a refund. To contribute, all you need to do is send me an email and attach the design to the email.

Designing for your first challenge starts now! Our subject is “Angels”! Your design field should stay within 6 3/4″ X 4 1/2″ and can be smaller. Your design can be an ornament, applique, lace, have textured fills, be an embroidery pin, or an embroidery to embellish with. I auto digitized my designs, you can too, or you can get fancy and manually digitize them. Designs need to be your original embroidery. They can be done from non copy write clip art. To submit your design, send it to in pes, XXX, sew, jef, fhe, hus or dst formats. We will stop receiving your angels on November 30th. I will post the designs I receive  asap. I hope to announce and picture all designs for download by December 5th.

I have loaded a few free designs of angels to get you started with ideas.  Remember to try your free designs on a trial fabric before using.
